This app crashes before you are able to complete your first search

Glad Digikey has an app, but still fat from being usable for day to day orders. Here are some issues: When you search for something and add it to the cart there is no way of returning to the search. The browsing method is a little cumbersome. And there are many screens with a lot of data that is just taking space. Placing an order is like playing a lottery. Sometimes it will work or sometimes it will just give you a null error. Like the ability of having multiple carts. Lacks the ability of sync of the orders... Need to be able to look up web access Id so the orders can be completed online. Other than that a very good app that needs a lot of work.

This app isnt the worst electronic component app. It may even be the best. But its quite annoying to use and has many flaws. You cant select ranges. I want a list of resistors between 1 and 4 ohms. I need to individually select every single resistance to do that! The app doesnt remember where you were, so if you leave it for too long and it exits, it doesnt bring you back where you were. As the other reviewer pointed out, if you add something to your cart, it clears all your search settings! I wanted to add a few items to my cart to further research. Nope, cant do that.

It is great for what it is, but still use desktop to place orders.

This app is a good first try, but there are numerous improvements that can be made. Having possible parts displayed is a table like the website would be great. Personally Ive had no issue with the shopping cart on this app. In fact its so much better then what the website uses. I use the website to find components and this app to then buy them.

It is a good app but needs a few improvements.

It took a little getting used to. The app does basic ordering and data sheets. I wish it had more functionality such as workshops and education and account maintenance. Overall a useful app.

Has some nice features (some better than normal web site), but hard to get used to...and it lacks some features of the web site

A good companion to the website.

This is a great app. I particularly like being able to save data sheets. I would like to see the search features evolve a little, though. Filtering can be a little inefficient.

Digikey is my favorite online store, and I love their app! It has a very nice UI and it is very easy to find and compare parts! Keep up the excellence!

I have found this app great for ordering from Digikey afterhours . I find product filtering even easier than the website. Datasheets load quickly and can be saved to your profile for easy recall. Overall an A+ !!!

This app is hard to look at not intuitive gives unreadable results what happened to the table lists which are easy and intuitive. One search and I was back to the web version

The app is structured slightly differently than the website, specifically in available filters, so it isnt good for selecting a particular part, but it is good for quickly looking for a kind of part, something the website isnt particularly good at. Datasheets load quickly so it is a nice reference when assembling or testing a prototype on a bench where your computer may be out of reach.

Terrible app. I installed it on my iPad; punched in a Tyco part number and it told me that "no matching results were found". I went over to my P C and punched in the same part number on the full website and all of the information that I needed was right there! I only gave it one star because thats the minimum I could choose.

Very convenient. Shows all product fields (price, voltage, package, etc) on each product page.

I have used this app for a while now to order parts and have found it hard to find things when using it. Below r features that would make finding parts a whole lot easier: 1. Images in searches so people dont have to click the item then download the datasheet until they find the right part. With hundreds of results that can take hours! 2. Add a "favorites" option. Making a million carts for special items isnt practicle. Example being pcie crimp pins. It takes me a good hour to find the darn things each time! I buy male and female when needed so this gets to be a pain. 3. No duplicate filters. I noticed some filters that to me seem like the same thing just using a different word. Its sorta like telling someone the words "house" and "home" are 2 different things. They r different words that mean the same thing. Overall i love the app and im a second gen digikey buyer although i buy far less then he does but its a nifty little app to get what i need for my projects but after a while i kinda expect some of these basic features to be improved and or added. It might draw in more buyers too :).
