The app is okay, kind of unintuitive at times. The only showstopper is that I get an error when I try to complete an order. So I guess its a decent catalog but Ill have to stick with the website to actually buy anything.

The app is much easier to browse and filter the web site. Just need to add filters to enable price sorting and selectable ranges (like $1 to $5, $5 to $10, etc)

Get all of my components from Digi-Key. Never had any problems with them. Helpful to place orders for parts when Im not in the office.

I was pleasantly surprised -- for what I do, I find this app to be more intuitive than the main website.

Completely agree with earlier reviewer who wrote that drill-down filtering is needed. Finding exactly what I need takes *way* too long when Im forced to wade through all top-level parameters even after Ive narrowed selections considerably. Your app should work like your website, which is a model of efficiency and good web design. Why in Gods name have you put my saved datasheets behind a login screen that requires an Internet connection to access? Now if I want to see a datasheet on a plane -- which I do, frequently -- I have to give the airline another $15 for the privilege. This is a big fail, guys. Please move this feature out of the password-protected profile area.

The flow for adding to the cart needs smaller steps for accumulating parts of same family. No apparent way to delete a cart. (Oh, wait...there it is...Please dont use red for text against black) Button placements are not always obvious or need outlines. Upon submitting order it complained about customer number but I had no control over it; that field was filled correctly from profile. Once submitted, had to logoff and back on to refresh order history. Going back to webpage ordering for awhile....

Impressed overall with quality and usability of Digikey app. But its missing one VERY key feature...if I have a shopping cart in progress on the Digikey website or the app they are not syncd. I spend a lot of time between a design lab, desk and meetings. Finding and adding components, especially when an innovative moment strikes, to a shopping cart is often spontaneous. Syncing carts is HIGHLY desirable.

Ok, so before I loved using this app to shop here. But now, the app entirely doesnt work on my iPhone 6 +. When I tap the app to open, it immediately crashes back to the home screen. Please fix this!

This is what I want in a parts app -- live search, cart and old order integration, hasnt crashed, simple and sweet. Theres a smooth flow through the search and order process. Id given up on component distributors app development until now. With this update the ipad is now serious tool for parts ordering. I suggest skeptics give this a try. Times have changed. I really dont have any suggestions for improvement. The home screen is a bit silly, but how can you summarize umpteenzillion parts on one page anyway? Search is the way to go -- perhaps some saved searches on the home page? Naah, leave it alone for a while. Thank you devs!

This app works for a while - and then one day it crashes. When you try to re-open it, it crashes again. Force-closing and restarting the app does not solve the issue. Restarting your phone does not solve the issue. The only way to access the app again after it starts doing this is to remove it and reinstall it. Unfortunately, any lists or other data you have in the app isnt stored in iCloud - so you will lose all your data when you uninstall it!

Great! Please add way to specify quantity wanted, like in the online version.

Finding parts is a lot easier, the keywords arent as sensitive to errors. The filtering system works much better than the drop down menus on the website, and the shopping cart is really nice. You can make multiple carts for different projects and it keeps track of the carts as well as the previous orders and part numbers from prior orders. You can name different carts as well. Very nice, highly recommend. Oh and the tools that come with the app have ACTUALLY come in handy for me on more than one occasion! Its not filler junk made to make the app look good, the calculators and resistor identifier are functional and work well.

I love the categories and the layout!

This app really helps for small projects when the parts are known and you want to make a quick order. It would be better if the app linked the cart to my computer account and I could continue working on the same cart.

I love the searching and ability to save data sheets for offline but I found an issue where if Im logged in searching is broke with errors. The moment I logout searching works flawlessly.

Overall a pretty good app. Part search is fast with instant access to pricing and datasheets
